This page is under construction - it is intended to contain some useful information, tips and resources section leaders can use when planning activities and trips.

Activity Intention Form

Pre-Activity Checklist
  • Have a First aid kit and a designated first aider / first aid responsible person, on all activities
  • Manage first aid kits diligently and contact the designated person within the group if items require replacement
  • If going on an overnight activity notify the group leader of your intentions in advance via email or telephone call,
  • Have at all times a means of making emergency contact with the designated contact person/s - even if this means hiring an emergency beacon (EPIRB)
  • All activities should be preceded by an appropriate level of risk assessment and a response plan is recommended
  • Ensure that a copy of the groups emergency contact numbers is available
  • Appoint a local, home base, single point of contact for all overnight trips
  • Check through the Activity Resources for useful information such as a standard gear list, a risk assessment form, camp food planning menus, etc..
